Stree 2 gathered an outstanding number on its third Saturday. The horror comedy is refusing to slow down at the box office even after two weeks, and it is still showing stunning consistency. The film has a good chance of beating Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and becoming the highest grosser for Bollywood.
On August 31st, Stree 2 collected 17.5 crores net and the total collections for 17 days will be 480.5 crores. Certainly, the film will collect around 20 crores today and will enter the coveted 500 Crore club. A small movie collecting such a huge amount is definitely remarkable. However, Stree 2 needs to have some good collections after this weekend to become the biggest grosser ever for Bollywood. The Ganesh Chaturthi festival falls on the next Saturday, which can add more numbers for the film.
Starring Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor in the lead characters, Stree 2 also has Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee and Pankaj Tripathi in supporting roles. Varun Dhawan Akshay Kumar, and Tamannaah Bhatia appeared in cameos. The scene after the end titles hinted at Stree 3 and the audiences are already excited about it.
