Stree 2, the latest blockbuster from Bollywood, has completed four weeks at the box office. In these four weeks, the film never slowed down and minted numbers daily, surprising the trade circles and industry insiders as well. Before the release, this horror comedy was expected to be a good money spinner, but no one expected such an outstanding performance from it. The film has collected over 550 crore net in India, and it is on course to reach the coveted 600 mark, and it will be the first film from Bollywood if it achieves this landmark.
On its 28th day, Stree 2 collected 3 crore net in India, and for four weeks, the film collected 561 crore net and 662 crore gross at the domestic box office. Starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles, Stree 2 also has Abhishek Bannerjee, Aparshakti Khurana, and Pankaj Tripathi in supporting roles. Akshay Kumar, Varund Dhawan, and Tamannaah Bhatia appeared in cameos in the film and enthralled audiences with their presence.
Stree 2 was released in theaters on August 15, 2024, and the makers also arranged paid premieres for the film before the release day. The response was awesome, and the horror comedy went on to become a massive blockbuster, beating the likes of Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham’s Vedaa.
