Stree 2, the latest horror comedy that became a massive blockbuster at the box office, is still continuing its magical run at the box office. Even after completing four weeks in the theaters, the film is getting respectable numbers and substantial footfalls at the ticket windows. The film was released amidst good expectations on August 15, 2024, and it started to create records at the box office from then on.
On its 30th day, Stree 2 collected 3.6 crore net in India, taking the overall total till now at the domestic box office of 567.8 crore. The makers recently announced a BOGO offer for audiences, and it resulted well for them. Usually, Bollywood filmmakers announce the BOGO (Buy One Get One) offer for big films after a major chunk of the theatrical run gets completed. As Stree 2 entered the fifth weekend, the makers thought that it would be a good strategy to bring audiences to theaters by announcing the BOGO offer.
Starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor as the lead characters, Stree 2 also has Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee, and Pankaj Tripathi in supporting parts. Varun Dhawan, Akshay Kumar, and Tamannaah Bhatia appeared in cameos. The scene after the end titles hinted at Stree 3, and the audiences are already excited about it. Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande under Maddock Films and Jio Studios, Stree 2 has been directed by Amar Kaushik.
