Stree 2 is still going strong at the box office and collecting impressive numbers. Director Amar Kaushik’s horror comedy had a positive pre-release hype, and it was expected to bring good numbers at the ticket windows. However, the film surprised everyone from the initial day with its visible dominance over other films.
Stree 2 was released on August 15th, and it clashed with Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham, Sharvari’s Vedaa. Both the films could not even collect half of Stree 2’s numbers on first day, and they crashed after the weekend. Meanwhile, Stree 2 continued to score well until the 16th day. On Friday, the film gathered 9.3 Crores net in India, which takes its total to 463 Crores for 16 days. Stree 2 is poised to have a good weekend at the box office, and it is expected to enter the coveted 500 Cr Club.
Starring Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles, Stree 2 also has Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee and Pankaj Tripathi in supporting roles. Varun Dhawan Akshay Kumar, and Tamannaah Bhatia appeared in cameo appearances. The scene after the end titles hinted at Stree 3 and the audiences are already excited about it.
