Ashwin Babu’s Shivam Bhaje is now streaming on OTT. The actor received much praise for his performance as a cannibal in his previous movie, Hidimba. Under the direction of Apsar, Ashwin starred in an action drama called Shivam Bhaje. The film’s poster and trailer raised the hype around it. However, when Shivam Bhaje was released in theaters on August 30th, it opened to mixed responses from audiences and reviewers.
Though the film had an intriguing concept, the director, Apsar, somehow failed to translate his thoughts onto the screen appropriately. It was already reported that Prime Video bagged the film’s OTT rights, and the latest news is that Shivam Bhaje has started to stream on the YouTube platform. The film has an exciting concept where the hero of the film loses his eyes in an accident, and the doctors transplant a dog’s eyes instead of human eyes for him by mistake. After that, the lead character goes through many hardships, as he cannot sleep properly due to the nightmares. After suffering for a while, he decides to know the past of the dog and what circumstances led to its death.
Digangana Suryavanshi appeared as the female lead in Shivam Bhaje. Brahmaji and Hyper Aadi appear in supporting roles, while Bollywood actor Arbaaz Khan made a comeback in the Telugu film industry after Jai Chiranjeeva (2005). Maheshwara Reddh Mooli produced Shivam Bhaje.
