Therefore, they are committed to perfecting the script before proceeding.” According to the source, with the releases of Shaitaan 2 and Son Of Sardaar 2, Ajay Devgn has established himself as the sole Indian actor to lead the highest number of successful film franchises. Each of these films encompasses a distinct genre, including action, drama, romance, and comedy.
Shaitaan achieved remarkable success at the box office for those unfamiliar, generating over ₹211.06 crore. The production budget for the film was approximately ₹60–65 crore. It ranked as the fourth-highest-grossing Indian film of 2024 and secured the position of the second-highest-grossing film overall for that year. Additionally, Shaitaan holds the record as the highest-grossing Indian horror film in history. Ajay Devgn is set to appear in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film, Singham Again. This highly anticipated project features a star-studded cast, including Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, and Akshay Kumar, among others. The film is scheduled for release during Diwali 2024. Additionally, Devgn has recently revealed the commencement of filming for Son Of Sardaar 2 through a video shared on his Instagram account.
