Sunny Deol shows no signs of slowing down! Following the tremendous success of his film Gadar 2, released last year, the Bollywood actor has been busy signing on for multiple new projects. The upcoming film SDGM (working title) with director Gopichand Malineni is among them. The movie’s official announcement was made recently as Sunny began filming in Hyderabad. Gopichand shared some insights about Deol’s character in the film during the latest interview.
Gopichand Malieni is set to make his directorial debut with the upcoming film SDGM, starring Sunny Deol. The filmmaker has crafted it to be a grand, action-packed entertainer. Revealing some details about Sunny’s character in the movie, Malieni shared with the tabloid, “I will showcase him in an action avatar that has never been seen before. After the release of Gadar 2, I narrated the story to Sunny sir. He immediately agreed, mentioning that he was seeking a role like this. Sunny sir will not be portraying a character in uniform.” The movie revolves around an ordinary individual challenging the system in pursuit of justice, with the director emphasizing the unique nature of the concept. Additionally, he disclosed that the narrative of SDGM draws inspiration from actual events, a fact that will become apparent to viewers upon watching the film.
SDGM, despite being produced in Hindi, is not limiting its reach. It will undergo dubbing in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, ensuring a wider audience can enjoy the film. The director, Gopichand, has also revealed that three action directors have been enlisted for the movie, a testament to the intense action sequences that await the viewers. He further emphasized that the majority of stunts in SDGM will be presented in a raw and authentic manner, promising a thrilling experience. As for the cast, Gopichand mentioned that Regina Cassandra and Saiyami Kher will be portraying fierce avatars in the film, adding to the excitement.
