Kajal Aggarwal’s return to Telugu cinema, Satyabhama, failed to meet expectations at the box office. Despite heavy promotion, the cop drama could not attract audiences and became available on OTT platforms within three weeks of its release on June 7, 2024.
Amazon Prime Video acquired the rights and commenced streaming the movie on June 28, 2024. Recently, it was announced that Satyabhama will soon be available for streaming on ETV Win. The Telugu platform is scheduled to start streaming the film on August 1, 2024. It has been reported that ETV Win secured the rights for a very reasonable price. In this film, Kajal Aggarwal portrays a formidable police officer under the direction of Suman Chikkala. The film, produced by the renowned director Sashi Kiran Thikka, features Naveen Chandra in a special appearance. Titled Satyabhama, this cop drama revolves around a serial killer, revealing that one of Kajal’s closest friends in the narrative ultimately emerges as the primary antagonist.
Kajal’s performance received praise from the critics. The film had a decent budget but failed to attract any interest on Amazon Prime Video. Now, Satyabhama is ready to premiere on ETV Win, and it remains to be seen how the film will perform in the future. In recent months, ETV Win has been acquiring rights to several Telugu films to expand its OTT library, and Satyabhama is one of them. Harshvardhan and Prakash Raj had significant roles in this film, which featured music by Sricharan Pakala.
