Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is now Streaming on OTT

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, Natural Star Nani’s latest action drama is now streaming on OTT. The film had a good pre-release buzz due to the intriguing promos and posters, and it was released in theaters worldwide on August 29, 2024. The film opened to mostly positive reviews from audiences and critics and ended up as a good hit at the box office, crossing the 100 crore gross mark worldwide.

Vivek Atreya directed Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, and he already worked with Nani for Ante Sundaraniki, which was a big failure at the box office, but it grew a cult fanbase over the years who hail it as a classic. Netflix, the OTT giant, has bagged the digital rights to Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, and the film is now streaming in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. Interestingly, Nani-VVivek’s previous outing Ante Sundaraniki is also available on Netflix, and it had topped the viewing charts at the time of its OTT arrival. Now the streaming platform expects the same performance from Saripodhaa Sanivaaram as well.

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram tells the story of Surya, a man who has suffered from anger issues since his childhood. He cannot tolerate if any injustice happens in front of him or if someone wrongs him and gets into fights. Surya’s mother advises him to show his anger only on one day in a week. As fate would have it, Surya chooses Saturday as his day, and he gets involved in the fight between Daya, a ruthless CI, and the Sokulapalem people. The rest of the story is how Surya faces Daya with the help of Charulatha, a constable whom he loves.
