Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, the latest action drama starring Natural Star Nani, is still getting good numbers at the box office. The film was released in theaters on August 29, 2024, amidst good expectations. The film received decent reviews from audiences and critics. The film received good openings on the first day, and though it saw a considerable drop after the opening weekend, it is still getting respectable numbers.
For 11 days, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram has collected 85 crore gross at the worldwide box office. The Telugu state gross would be near 45 crores, and the overseas collection trend has been superb for the film. Till now, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram has collected 2.4 million at the USA box office. As said above, the film was expected to be a good money spinner, and though a section of audiences felt the film was a bit lengthy, it was able to attract a larger section of movie lovers to the theaters.
Saripodhaa Sanivaaram tells the story of Surya, who makes a promise to his mother that he will unleash his anger only on one day in a week, which is Saturday. Surya makes a note of people who did wrong things and made him angry and hits them on Saturday. How this habit of Surya makes him take on a ruthless Circle Inspector, Daya, and how his love life with Charulatha, a constable, gets affected with this is the rest of the story. As the film has completed its second weekend in theaters, we will have to wait and see whether it can make into the 100-cr club.
