Akshay Kumar is preparing for the release of his forthcoming movie, Sarfira, scheduled for July 12th. The film is helmed by renowned director Sudha Kongara and serves as an authorized adaptation of the Tamil film Soorarai Pottru, featuring Suriya. The original movie premiered exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in 2020.
The streaming rights for the highly-anticipated film Sarfira have been secured by the leading digital platform Disney Plus Hotstar as part of their finalized OTT deal. The official theatrical trailer, which was unveiled recently, has already garnered a phenomenal response. Sarfira features a stellar cast, including the versatile Paresh Rawal (reprising his role from the original), the talented Radhika Madan, and the seasoned Seema Biswas, all in pivotal roles. The story was crafted by the brilliant duo Sudha Kongara and Shalini Ushadevi, with the dialogues penned by Pooja Tolani. The film is a collaborative effort between Aruna Bhatia’s Cape of Good Films, Suriya and Jyotika’s 2D Entertainment, and Vikram Malhotra-led Abundantia Entertainment.
