The AP & TS deal for “Ayaalan” was sealed three months ago, instilling high hopes for a successful debut in the Telugu market. However, as the festival draws near, the film is encountering challenges in securing theaters amidst the bustling Sankranti local mad rush. The prevailing circumstances make it increasingly unlikely that “Ayaalan” will make it to the festival screens, leaving stakeholders in suspense as no official decision has been communicated.
On the flip side, “Captain Miller” is generating significant buzz in Kollywood, setting the stage for a triumphant release in its home turf. Unfortunately, the same optimism may not extend to its Telugu dubbed version, as the crowded Sankranti calendar poses hurdles for securing a release in the two Telugu states. Despite the film’s potential success in its original language, the fate of its Telugu counterpart hangs in the balance amid the festival chaos.
