Samsung, a leading name in the smartphone industry, has recently broadened its portfolio with the introduction of the Galaxy M14 4G and Galaxy F14 4G models. Following the launch of their 5G counterparts last March, these new additions cater to a market segment still reliant on 4G connectivity. The Galaxy M14 4G, boasting the model number SM-M146B, and the Galaxy F14 4G, identified as SM-E146B, follow Samsung’s consistent design language, which has become a hallmark of the brand across various price points. These models have already made their presence felt, with the Galaxy M14 4G featuring on Samsung India’s support page and user manuals for both devices being readily available online.
Interestingly, Samsung has chosen to release these 4G models as virtually identical devices, differing only in their branding and retail strategy, mirroring the approach taken with their 5G versions. The Galaxy F14 5G and M14 5G differed solely in the latter’s inclusion of a depth sensor on the rear camera. This strategy indicates Samsung’s intent to streamline its product offerings while also catering to different retail preferences. Both the M14 4G and F14 4G are expected to feature a power button that doubles as a fingerprint sensor, a single downward-firing speaker, and NFC support, maintaining the company’s commitment to essential features across its device range.
However, Samsung has not yet released the complete specifications for these new models, leaving tech enthusiasts and potential customers curious about how these devices will differ from their 5G counterparts. The Galaxy M14 5G and F14 5G are known for their impressive 6.6-inch 1080×2408 LCD touchscreens with a 90 Hz refresh rate, the Exynos 1330 SoC, options of 4/6GB of RAM, 64/128GB of storage, a 50 MP main camera, a 13 MP front camera, and a robust 6,000 mAh battery supporting 25W wired charging. The tech community eagerly awaits further details to see how the 4G versions stand in comparison, particularly in terms of processing power and camera capabilities. With these new models, Samsung continues to strengthen its foothold in the diverse global smartphone market, offering options for every kind of user.
