Samsung Expands Galaxy AI Suite Rollout

Samsung has taken the next step in its Galaxy AI suite rollout, bringing the cutting-edge features to a wider range of devices through the One UI 6.1 update. Starting today, March 28th, the Galaxy S23 family, including the S23 FE, the Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, and the Galaxy Tab S9 series will receive the Galaxy AI capabilities that debuted alongside the Galaxy S24 lineup in January.

With this rollout, Samsung aims to provide over 100 million users with access to its advanced AI suite, according to Nick Porter, the company’s Vice President. However, when asked about the possibility of bringing these features to older devices like the Galaxy S22 series, Porter remained non-committal, stating that Samsung is currently evaluating its portfolio and will decide whether to introduce the full AI package or select components on a device-by-device basis.

While the exact timeline for further expansions remains uncertain, Samsung has promised to enhance the AI suite’s capabilities later this year. Specifically, the company plans to incorporate support for additional languages into its Chat Assist and Live Translate features, further enriching the user experience for a global audience.
