Salman Khan’s Kick to Have a Sequel?

After ten years of anticipation, there has been much speculation about the possibility of a sequel to Kick, a film released in 2014. Fans of Salman Khan will eagerly anticipate this news. According to recent updates, the superstar is set to reprise his role as Devil (Devi Lal Singh) in the follow-up to his blockbuster movie Kick. According to Mid Day, Sajid Nadiadwala, the director of the successful action film, is keen to start filming Kick 2 in 2025.

An insider provided the tabloid with information regarding Sajid’s participation in scriptwriting. He will also have to coordinate the schedules as he oversees various productions under his banner. He aims to ensure that everything runs seamlessly, allowing him to focus on directing Kick 2. The director, who initially imagined the Devil as a desi Robin Hood and is now behind Khan’s Sikandar, seems to have initiated a conversation about continuing the Devil’s narrative. Salman and Sajid share a strong bond, and sources reveal that they are both excited to collaborate once again on Kick 2. The original Kick was inspired by the 2009 Telugu movie of the same title and featured Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Randeep Hooda, among other notable actors. Presently, Sajid has two major projects: Sikandar, helmed by AR Murugadoss, and Housefull 5, which stars Akshay Kumar.

During an interview, Sajid previously discussed Kick, mentioning that it was his debut feature film and his favorite intellectual property. Each time the filmmaker mentions Kick, he receives messages from industry insiders and online users inquiring about the release date of Kick 2. Don’t worry; an expansion for Kick is currently being developed. The script has been completed, and they are waiting for the right time to begin production. They plan to launch it more opportunistically and on a larger scale. To proceed with Kick 2, they need a resurgence in widespread cinema consumption. Once things return to normal, Sajid will be ready to start filming Kick 2. Initially just an idea, it is now a reality on paper. All that is needed is the audience’s excitement to return, and then they can officially kick off Kick 2; even Salman has been informed.
