Telugu films skipping theatrical releases and opting for a digital release has become a common thing nowadays. Senior Actor’s Veeranjaneyulu Vihara Yatra is the latest film to follow this strategy. The family drama will be accessible to stream on ETV Win on August 14, 2024, and there is a good buzz for this film.
Rape D, a crime thriller, is too skipping the theatrical release and arriving directly on OTT. They made the film on a relatively less budget. The film is available for streaming on the Bcineet App from August 10, 2024. Rape D stars Vishva Karthikeya and Karunya Chowdary in lead roles. Currently, the film is streaming on the Bcineet App, but shortly it will likewise be available on the other famous Telugu platform from August 24, 2024. The makers will soon hold a special event and reveal the name of the popular OTT platform on which the film will stream. Rape D is produced by Devi Mereti under the Talent Cafe Production banner. Ravi Sharma directed the film, and it is his debut film which has the majority of newcomers in crucial characters. Rape D is presented by Sadhvi Pranavi, whereas Y. Ramana Murthy and Yashwant Thota have co-produced the film.
Rape D’s music was composed by Vikas Kurimella, and Prakash Ved wrote the dialogues for this film. The director Ravi Sharma says that Rape D deals with a very sensitive subject, and they made it as an investigative thriller. The film will have more promotions in the coming days.
