Post the triumphant comeback with “Salaar,” the Pan India star Prabhas is currently juggling a handful of projects, with two eagerly anticipated films nearing completion. One of these projects is the highly ambitious sci-fi venture titled “Kalki 2898 AD” directed by Nag Ashwin, while the other is a commercial entertainer in the typical Director Maruthi style, titled “Rajasaab.”
Kalki 2898 AD has been subject to delays, justified by its exploration of uncharted territory in Indian cinema. With heavyweight casting and a substantial budget, the film promises to ignite the thrill in spectators. However, fans have been eagerly awaiting the release date, which has been postponed multiple times. Meanwhile, the team behind Rajasaab has kept fans in the dark since the shoot began, offering only a first look poster.
Director Maruthi clarified the team’s stance on the promotional campaign, emphasizing their reluctance to overshadow Kalki 2898 AD. Similarly, Producer TG Vishwa Prasad of Rajasaab reiterated that promotions would commence only after Kalki 2898 AD, including the much-awaited first single from the album. While some fans may be disappointed by this decision, others see it as a strategic move to prevent comparisons between the two projects, which could have both positive and negative consequences for each film.
