Pogumidam Vegu Thooramillai tells the story of a mortuary driver who takes the responsibility of transporting a corpse to one place from another. On the way, he meets a koothu artist who is talkative. Though they do not like each other in the beginning, they get along as their journey progresses. The twist in the tale is that the deceased person has two rival sons who are in a conflict about who should perform the last rites of their fathers. Pogumidam Vegu Thooramillai was released in theaters on August 23, 2024.
