People of the state are hating TDP chief and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, said Minister Botsa Satyanarayana. Speaking to media persons in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday, Botsa said that the TDP chief had stopped several welfare programmes. All the schemes were ongoing programmes and none of them was a new one.
Botsa said that Chandrababu Naidu started Pasupu-Kumkuma before the 2019 general elections and the YSR Congress did not stop it. He wondered why Chandrababu Naidu stopped all the welfare programmes now.
He said that farmers were looking for input subsidy as the agriculture season is set to begin. Similarly, the students were looking for fee reimbursement and they all would be in trouble if the money is not paid to them intime. He said that the TDP alliance is responsible for this mess and appealed to the farmers and students to wait till elections are over.
He said that funds were ready for the schemes and would be credited into their accounts one the new government is formed. He said that people would teach a fitting lesson to Chandrababu Naidu and the TDP alliance in the coming elections.
Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s criticism of the state government, Botsa said that the Prime Minister read the script given by someone. He took exception to the Prime Minister’s statement on the new railway zone.
The Minister wanted to know if the Modi government would stop privatisation of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, give new railway station and sanction special category status to the state. He wanted a clear statement on these issues from the Prime Minister.
He said that BJP would not win even a single seat in Andhra Pradesh. People would throw the BJP into the Bay of Bengal in the coming elections. He said that the prime minister is spineless and he had never seen such a leader in the country.
