Pechi, the latest horror drama from Tamil cinema, has been released on OTT. Starring Gayahtrie, Bala Saravanan, and others, the film is now available on Aha Tamil. Yesterday, the streaming platform announced on its official social media accounts that it has acquired the digital rights of Pechi and it will be available for streaming starting Friday, i.e., today.
Pechi was released in theaters on August 2, 2024, and it has made its OTT debut after seven weeks from theatrical release, which is a good gap for an OTT window. Written and directed by Ramchandran.B., the film has been produced by Gokul Benoy and Shaik Mujeeb, while Vignesh Selvarajan, Dhanisthan Fernando, Rajarajan Gnanasambandam, and Sanjai Shankar served as the co-producers under the Veyilon Entertainment and Verud Productions banner. Rajesh Murgesan is the film’s music composer.
Pechi tells the story of a bunch of friends who go on a trekking trip on a weekend. However, after entering forests, they unknowingly cross a line that they should not, and they face horrific events because of an evil spirit who haunts them. The rest of the story is about how the group of friends survives the ghost. So, if you want to enjoy a horror film this weekend, then tune into Aha Tamil to watch Pechi.
