In a recent interview, Aziz confirmed that the sequel is definitely on for the film.
Mudassar Aziz stated that he will provide an exciting standpoint for the sequel of Pati Patni Aur Woh, as it will have the standpoint of the film’s female characters. However, it will not have any serious or heavy emotional parts and will align with the romantic comedy angle of the first part. The director added that the sequel will not have a routine storyline. Though Aziz confirmed the sequel, he did not reveal the star cast. Reportedly, Kartik Aaryan has agreed to work on the sequel to Pati Patni Aur Woh, but we have to wait for the official announcement from the producers. Pati Patni Aur Woh was a remake of an old Bollywood classic that was released with the same title in 1978.
Interestingly, Kartik Aaryan will be seen in back-to-back sequels. Bhool Bhulaiya 3 will be released on this Diwali, and the young hero has also confirmed to play the lead role in Aashiqui 3. Kartik Aaryan’s recent release, Chandu Champion, did average business at the box office, but the actor received appreciation for his performance as Murlikant Patekar.
