The producers of the upcoming multilingual movie Paradise have officially announced that it is now available for digital viewing. The film, set to premiere on Manorama Max starting July 26th, features Darshana Rajendran and Roshan Mathew in the main roles. Despite its box office performance, the film has received critical acclaim for its honest presentation, making it a confident choice for digital viewing.
Dileep’s comedy-drama, Pavi Caretaker, will be available to stream on the same day as Paradise. Additionally, Mandakini, Jananam 1947 Pranayam Thudarnnu, and Jai Ganesh have recently started streaming on this digital platform. Prasanna Vithanage, a renowned filmmaker from Sri Lanka, helmed this production, garring numerous accolades at international film festivals. Paradise was produced by Mani Ratnam for Madras Talkies and was screened in cinemas. Mahendra Perera and Shyam Fernando played pivotal roles in Paradise. The film follows the journey of a young Indian couple as they commemorate their fifth wedding anniversary with a trip to strife-torn Sri Lanka. However, an unexpected robbery leads to escalating conflicts, exposing the underlying issues in their relationship and shedding light on the socioeconomic challenges in the country, which have caused tensions among the populace.
Prasanna Vithanage expertly showcases his hometown’s social and humanitarian issues through a clever script and strong performances that will challenge viewers’ perceptions of the value of human life in this film. Utilizing a well-crafted screenplay, the director skillfully delves into these issues through the lens of a young couple on vacation in the country.
