Nunakuzhi, the recent comedy hit from Malayalam Cinema, has made its digital debut now. ZEE5, one of the top OTT platforms in India, has bagged the digital rights to this film, and it is available for online streaming now. Having Basil Joseph and Grace Antony in the key roles, Nunakuzhi was released in theaters on August 15, 2024. Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the film received positive reviews from audiences and critics.
The good thing is, Nunakuzhi is available for streaming in not only Malayalam but also in Telugu and Kannada. It has become a norm for a film to stream in multiple languages like Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi; it is still not known why the Malayali Comedy is not streaming in Tamil and Hindi languages. Nunakuzhi had a successful run at the theaters, and the ones who did not have a chance to see it on the big screen can now enjoy it on OTT.
Jeetu Joseph surprised everyone with Nunakuzhi, as he chose to leave his strong genre, thriller, and make a comedy film. The film tells the story of Eby Zacharia, the MD of Poozhikunnel Group of Companies, who faces an unexpected income tax raid at his head office. The rest of the story is all about how Eby meets a group of police officers, a murdered dentist, a broken couple, and a movie star. The rest of the story focuses on how all these different individuals help Eby find a solution for his problem.
