New twist in Viveka murder case

There is a new twist in the former minister Y S Vivekananda Reddy murder case. His personal secretary Krishna Reddy lodged a complaint with the Pulivendula police alleging that Viveka’s daughter Sunitha Reddy, her husband Rajasekhar Reddy, and CBI inspector Ram Singh were mounting pressure on him to give them some big names in the murder case.

Krishna Reddy said that they were forcing him to give some big names in the murder. They have also threatened him of dire consequences if he refuses to give some big names in the crime, he said.

Krishna Reddy lodged a complaint with the local court seeking protection for him from these three persons. He told the court that the police were not filing the case against Sunitha Reddy, Rajasekhar Reddy and Ram Singh.

The court then directed the Pulivendula police to register a case against them. Following the directions from the court, the police booked a case under section 156 (3) of the IPC.

Krishna Reddy told the court that all the three were pressurising him to tell some important names in the murder case. He said he had already told whatever he is aware of the case. There was nothing for him to hide as he had been working for Vivekananda Reddy for several years.

He told the court that the CBI officials were also mounting pressure on him to give some important names from Pulivendula to have been involved in the murder case. As he refused to give any names, the CBI officials were threatening him, Krishna Reddy told the court.
