Netflix, the undeniable giant in the streaming industry worldwide, has also established itself as the top streaming service in India. Until recently, Amazon Prime Video and Disney+ Hotstar were the frontrunners in acquiring digital streaming rights for Telugu movies. However, Netflix’s sudden emergence has taken everyone by surprise. From the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic until now, Netflix has demonstrated a methodical and gradual approach to securing the digital rights of Telugu films. However, they have devised a strategy and now assert dominance through substantial investments.
Currently, Netflix has a huge amount of big Telugu or popular movies like “Salaar,” “Animal,” and “Guntur Kaaram,” all of which were released on their platform in a relatively short period.
