The theatrical release of Munjya is scheduled for June 7, 2024. Recently, we discovered the film’s streaming destination after its cinematic run. Munjya will be available on Disney+ Hotstar, serving as the OTT partner approximately two months after its theatrical debut, providing entertainment to a wider audience on the digital platform.

The film’s trailer introduces Munjya, India’s finest CGI actor, as the central character. The plot revolves around his experiences with love and obsession, drawing inspiration from folklore. Aditya Sarpotdar’s directorial venture delves into Munjya’s captivating journey, rooted in Indian culture and beliefs while incorporating humor and fear elements. Notable actors such as Sharvari Wagh, Mona Singh, Abhay Verma, and Sathyaraj play significant roles in this intriguing film. Mark your calendars for its theatrical release on June 7, 2024.

In regards to the film, producer Dinesh Vijan expressed, “This is essentially Munjya’s love story, centered around his first love interest, Munni. However, he is unable to win her over! If you have ever experienced an infatuated lover or have been infatuated with someone yourself, you will understand his point of view. And if not his, then certainly Munni’s,” he jokingly added. Expanding on Munjya’s technological advancements as the most cutting-edge CGI actor in India, the producer further stated, “Munjya is undeniably the most technologically advanced CGI actor in India, and we take great pride in that. It will undoubtedly be a visual spectacle for children, the next generation, and the entire family.”
