Maddock Films, The production house is having wonderful days. The banner’s latest release from its Supernatural Universe, Stree 2, is having an excellent run at the box office and gathered almost 500 Crores Gross at the domestic box office. Munjya, which is also a part of the Maddock Universe, was made available on OTT a few days ago.
Munjya, starring Abhay Verma and Sharvari, was recently released on Disney Plus Hot Star. The OTT viewers gave a positive response to the film and some of them compared it with Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2. While a section of viewers called it a better movie than Stree 2. Also, another section of viewers compared Munjya with Kartik Aryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, and stated that it is definitely better than BB2 but not as good as Stree 2.
One thing is for sure that the Bollywood audiences are very much interested in watching horror comedies. So, the individual opinions about the films in this genre may vary, but the filmmakers would not mind these comparisons as long as they did not affect their films’ results.
