Munjya, the horror-comedy movie helmed by Aditya Sapotdar, continues to impress at the box office. In a mere 15 days after its release, the film has already surpassed the noteworthy Rs 70 Crore mark in box office earnings. Specifically, on June 21, the 15th day of its theatrical run, Munjya raked in an additional Rs 3 Crore in box office collections, bolstering its total to Rs 74 Crore.

The horror comedy film Munjya premiered in cinemas on June 7th. By the 15th day of its release, on June 21, the movie grossed a net amount of Rs 3 Crore, as reported by Sacnilk. The film has accumulated Rs 74 Crore Net in box office earnings. The Hindi occupancy rate for the film on Friday was 14.40 percent. The morning screenings had an occupancy rate of 7.24 percent, while the afternoon showings reached 13.73 percent. In the evening, the occupancy rate was 14.55 percent, and during the night screenings, it peaked at 21.89 percent.

The story of Munjya, a renowned figure from Indian folklore and mythology, is narrated from the perspective of a creature residing in Pune and the Konkan region of Maharashtra. It centers around Munjya, a mythical being who disrupts Bittu’s life (played by Abhay Verma from The Family Man series). Munjya has now become a part of the horror-comedy universe of Maddock Films, joining the likes of Stree (2018), Roohi (2021), and Bhediya (2022).
