Munjya 12 Days Collections

Munjya appears determined to continue its successful run even in the second week. On the second Monday, the film starring Sharvari Wagh and Abhay Verma surpassed Kartik Aaryan’s Chandu Champion regarding Eid holiday collections. The movie is performing exceptionally well in mass areas, with second-week figures almost matching the opening week – a rare feat, as trade analyst Taran Adarsh noted.

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the film experienced a decline in earnings on the second Tuesday, raking in ₹3.50 crore. With the addition of the 12th-day box office collection, the movie has surpassed the ₹60 crore milestone, grossing ₹65 crore domestically. Munjya achieved a 20.16 percent occupancy rate in Hindi on Tuesday, with the highest percentage recorded in Chennai at 34.50 percent. The supernatural horror comedy faced tough competition from the highly anticipated release, Chandu Champion, in the previous week. However, this week, the competition has diminished, although it is expected that the decline in viewership will be more significant in the third week. According to Box Office India, the film has been a tremendous success, but its performance on the third Friday will determine its chances of reaching a net collection of 100 crore.

Abhay Verma and Sharvai Wagh lead the cast of Munjya, with notable performances from Mona Singh, Suhas Joshi, Satyaraj, and Reema Chaudhary. Munjya is the fourth installment in Dinesh Vijan’s supernatural universe under Maddock Films, following the success of Stree, Roohi, and Bhediya, which further adds to the movie’s appeal.
