Mr Bachchan, Ravi Teja’s latest film, was released yesterday. Directed by Harish Shankar, the action entertainer opened to unanimous negative reviews and word of mouth from audiences. Mr Bachchan had a poor opening on its 1st Day.
In Nizam, Mr. Bachchan collected 1.7 crores share, while it gathered 60 Lakhs in Ceeded and Andhra ‘s number will be 1.4 crores. The total Telugu States share is around 3.7 crores. The Worldwide share of Mr Bachchan will be less than 5 crores, and it is an unexpectedly low figure for a star like Raviteja. The theatrical rights of the film are valued at 35 crores worldwide.
Trade circles are shocked with such a poor start for the film. Mr Bachchan’s makers arranged early premieres for the film before the film’s release day, which affected hugely on the opening day collections. The talk was so bad that the film could not use the advantage of the National Holiday.
