Mr. Bachchan was released in theaters on August 15th, along with Ram Pothineni’s Double Ismart. The makers arranged paid premieres for the film on August 14th evening to get the additional hype. However, this move proved to be disastrous, as the film received unanimous negative talk, which led to the film having dismal openings at the box office. Also, many criticized Harish Shankar for spoiling the original film, Ajay Devgn’s Raid, by adding unnecessary commercial elements. The reports regarding the film’s OTT arrival are doing the rounds in the industry circles.
Reportedly, Mr. Bachchan will be available for streaming from September 12, 2024. The OTT giant Netflix has bagged the film’s digital rights for a substantial price, and the official announcement of its digital premiere will be out soon. Bhagyashree Borse made her debut with this film, and she received a good craze with her expressions and glamour dose. Also, her chemistry with Raviteja was good in the film.
