Janhvi Kapoor, well-known for her captivating presence in Bollywood, will be appearing on the big screen in the upcoming Hindi movie Mr & Mr Mahi with Rajkummar Rao. Helmed by Sharan Sharma, the film is scheduled for a lavish theatrical debut on May 31, 2024.
The newly released trailer has generated excitement among viewers, creating considerable buzz. Notably, Netflix, a prestigious OTT platform, has acquired the digital streaming rights for the movie for a significant amount. Starring Abhishek Banerjee, Rajesh Sharma, Kumud Mishra, Zarina Wahab, and Purnendu Bhattacharya in key roles, this project is being directed by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta under Dharma Productions.
The trailer unveils that Rajkummar and Janhvi enter a matrimonial union arranged by their respective families and gradually become acquainted. It takes some time for them to uncover their mutual love for cricket. Furthermore, we discover that Rajkummar’s character has a history of being unable to secure a spot on the cricket team, which leads his father, Kumud Mishra, to view him as a letdown. Conversely, Janhvi’s character is that of a doctor.
