Mirzapur 3: Despite the Mixed Response, Viewers are excited about the next season

Amazon Prime Video and Excel Entertainment have finally released the long-awaited Mirzapur Season 3 after almost four years since the show’s debut in 2018. The new season picks up from the intense finale of Season 2, addressing the fate of key characters and delving into the power struggle between Guddu, Golu, and their adversaries. The season’s climax has stunned audiences, and even a post-credit scene adds an unexpected twist. Though the series has received mixed response, netizens have varied discussions about the next season using their own theories. As you know, the following article contains spoilers.

If you have not watched Mirzapur Season 3, it is advisable to refrain from reading further. A spoiler has already been revealed, and more may follow. The climax of the last episode, which spans approximately 20 minutes, completely alters the power struggle dynamics for the Mirzapur throne. Throughout the season, the focus remains on Hulk Guddu and Brain Golu’s attempts to maintain control in Mirzapur. At the same time, Sharad Shukla (Anjum Sharma) gathers adversaries against them, all while continuing to look after Kaleen Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi). The plot takes a dramatic turn when Shatrughan (Vijay Varma) abducts Golu and stages her death. Guddu’s emotions take over, causing him to neglect the need for rational decision-making. The climax of Season 3 unfolds at this point. Guddu eliminates a crucial character in a manner reminiscent of Game of Thrones, and his mother betrays him by handing him over to the authorities as the main witness. Subsequently, he is incarcerated, providing Madhuri with a perfect opportunity to confront and eliminate him. A violent altercation erupts in the prison, resulting in Guddu being overpowered and savagely assaulted by fellow inmates. This marks Kaleen Bhaiya’s return to the forefront after a period of being in the shadows. He aims to claim sole control of the Mirzapur throne and ultimately murders Sharad, who meets his demise on the same throne on which he wanted to sit and rule.

Kaleen Bhaiya makes a powerful comeback by eliminating all potential rivals vying for the throne. With no formidable opponents left, he now has a smooth path to claim his position. However, his priority lies with his family and securing the future heir to his empire. Upon meeting his wife, Beena Tripathi (Rasika Dugal), Kaleen Bhaiya’s focus shifts. The season concludes with their meeting, leaving the audience in suspense about what unfolds next. In the earlier scene, Madhuri tells Kaleen to comply with her demands if he wants to protect Guddu Pandit. This hints at her possibly instructing Kaleen to eliminate Sharad and perhaps revealing Beena’s betrayal against him. Upon arriving at the prison to retrieve Guddu, Kaleen Bhaiya discovers that Guddu has already managed to escape. The subsequent scene depicts Guddu meeting Golu on a boat, likely situated along the borders of Mirzapur. This indicates that they are currently fugitives and must maintain a low profile, particularly at the onset of Season 4. Furthermore, this sequence highlights their blossoming romance, emphasizing that the narrative now encompasses more than just survival – it delves into preserving their love. With their influence in Mirzapur diminished and their rule short-lived, the question arises: will Guddu come to terms with this reality? Not. The trajectory of Season 4 promises to be intriguing as their journey unfolds.

Despite the inevitable comparisons to Game of Thrones, Mirzapur incorporated an MCU trope. In Episode 10, the show features a post-credit scene that should be noticed. The loyal house help, who was devoted to Beena, arrives to meet a certain Khan. Shortly after, Khan emerges from what appears to be a mine and meets her. This Khan is revealed to be none other than Maqbool. It remains to be seen whether this is part of Beena’s new plan or if she has summoned him for Kaleen Bhaiya. With Akhandanand now isolated and untrustworthy, the guards will need a new ally they can rely on in all business matters. Season 4 will also mark Maqbool’s return to Mirzapur.
