Chiranjeevi, the renowned star and one of the highly respected actors from the Telugu film industry, has made the Telugu cinema and the entire film fraternity proud by entering the Guinness Book of World Records as the Most Prolific Film Star in the Indian Film Industry. He was awarded on Sunday evening, September 22, 2024.
The award was presented for Chiranjeevi’s dance performance in 156 films for over 537 songs with 24000 dancer moves in 46 years of career. Obviously, the actor felt so happy while receiving the award. He stated that he never thought about his name being listed in the Guinness Book of World Records, and he ignored it like he had nothing to do with this award. He also added that he achieved this award because of the encouragement from the various producers, directors, and choreographers who have worked with him. Chiru also informed how his fellow actors encouraged him when he was practicing dance during the gap between the shoots in his early days of his career. The most exciting thing is that Chiranjeevi received the Guinness Book of World Record award on the same day, September 22, which was the release date of his first film, Praanam Khareedu, 46 years ago.
Bollywood star Amir Khan was invited as the chief guest for the occasion, and the renowned actor praised Chiranjeevi for the services he has done to the Telugu film industry. Many other directors and producers who worked with Chiranjeevi were present at the event. On the work front, Chiranjeevi is working for Vishwambhara, the fantasy film that is scheduled to be released in theaters worldwide on January 10, 2025.
