Marivillin Gopurangal, the latest comedy drama from Mollywood, is all set to arrive on the digital field. The latest reports have it that one of the OTT giants, Disney Plus Hotstar, has bagged the digital rights of the film. Arun Jose’s directorial stars Indrajith Sukumaran, Shruti Ramachandran, Sarjano Khalid, and Vincy Sony Aloshious in lead roles.
Marivillin Gopurangal was released in theaters on May 10, and it received mixed responses from audiences and critics. Due to the failure at the box office, the OTT deal for the film was delayed, and as said above, the famous digital platform Disney Plus Hot Star has grabbed the film’s digital rights. Though the official release date has not been announced by the makers or streamer, it is being said that Marivillin Gopurangal will be available to stream in the second week of September.
According to the trailer, Marivillin Gopurangal deals with contemporary relationships. It shows the story of a couple who are about to get married and another one who is already married. Sarjano Khalid and Vincy Son Aloshious appear as the young pair, while Indrajith Sukumaran and Shruti Ramachandran appear as the married couple. The rest of the story is all about how the young couple learns the value of relationships, marriage and love. Salim Kumar, Bindu Panicker, Sai Kumar, and Johny Antony played supporting roles in Marivillin Gouprangal.
