After being criticized for following a similar format in Mr. Majnu and Rang De from his debut film Tholi Prema, Director Venkat Atluri has surprised everyone with his efforts in Vaathi/Sir starring Dhanush. With Sir, Atluri’s efforts were noticed for learning from his past mistakes and coming up with a different subject carrying a strong message.
The success of Sir has landed Atluri an opportunity to work with Dulquer Salmaan for a film titled Lucky Bhaskar. Meenakshi Chaudhary is set to play the female lead. The first glimpse of the film suggests that Atluri is returning with another fresh subject. However, the film is facing unforeseen delays in its release date.
Lucky Bhaskar was initially scheduled to hit the screens on September 27th but was preponed to September 7th to avoid clashes with other big releases. However, the latest update has twisted the schedule again as the makers have now announced that Lucky Bhaskar didn’t meet the timeline and is now slated to release on October 31st, coinciding with the Diwali Festival.
Despite the delay, the makers of Lucky Bhaskar have assured fans that they are working closely to make it a strong pan-India project, and Dulquer’s performance is expected to be one of his best.
Expectations are certainly high for Lucky Bhaskar, as Dulquer Salmaan’s track record with Telugu directors has been excellent, with Lucky Bhaskar anticipated to follow the successful path of Mahanati and Sita Ramam.
