Dibakar Banerjee directs Love Sex Aur Dhokhaa, a sequel to the well-known movie Love Sex Aur Dhokha. The film’s storyline highlights the challenges faced in contemporary love, relationships, friendships, and personal identity. It delves into the hardships experienced by the characters as they navigate through the complexities of intimacy and genuine connections in an ever-evolving digital landscape. In addition to Urfi Javed and Nimrat Kaur Ahluwalia playing the main characters, Mouni Roy and Tusshar Kapoor appear in the film. The film also features Paritosh Tiwari, Bonita Rajpurohit, and Abhinav Singh in important roles.
The movie was produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor, with Dibakar Banerjee directing. LSD 2 has created a positive buzz among viewers due to its captivating posters and trailer. Earlier, in an interview, the film’s director revealed whether he was worried about the film’s outcome. He said, “Many times, sadly, I have seen Ekta being trolled on social media. I think Ekta, I, and so many others are living the lives of our imagined protagonists on social media. At times, people say we are telling the truth. But there are also times when people call us hypocrites. (I feel) our lives have become films that we are making. So, Ekta, I, and all those connected with LSD 2 are in a crazy state of mind right now. Let’s see (what happens).”
