Lokesh is much lower than my stature, says Kesineni

Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas (Nani) said that TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh is politically much lower than his stature. He said that he belonged to the stature of TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu and would reply only to his criticism.

The MP participated in the inauguration of several developmental programmes taken up at a cost of Rs 70 lakh in Pendyala village of Kanchikacharla mandal in Nandigama Assembly constituency area on Saturday.

The MP said that he would speak about certain people only after the election.

The MP said that he is not ready for any debate with those who run call money or other illegal businesses. He said he would do politics and speak on the politicians of his stature and not those who are lower than himself. He discounted comments against him by some TDP leaders and said that they don’t deserve to be commented by himself.

“There are several people in the TDP who run call money and illegal business or activities. They speak nonsense. They do stupid things. I can’t be asked to comment on them or respond to their comments,” the MP said.

The MP said that he had developed all seven Assembly constituencies in his parliament seat in the last ten years. He dared any politician of his stature to come for a debate with him on the development of the constituency. “I am ready for a debate with those of my stature and not those who are below,” he said.

The MP said that he wanted to wait and join the YSR Congress only after quitting his Parliament seat. But situations have forced him to join the party so early. He thanked the chief minister for giving him the Vijayawada MP seat. He said he would win the seat hands down and dared the TDP leaders to defeat him.
