L2 Empuran is the most anticipated film for Malayalam movie lovers. It is the second installment of Lucifer (2019), starring Mohanlal in the lead role and directed by actor and filmmaker Prithviraj Sukumaran. The sequel is now in the final stage of shooting in Gujarat. Prithviraj Sukumaran shared a new picture from the film’s sets, much to the happiness of fans.
Prithviraj Sukumaran recently finished shooting his upcoming Hindi film and joined the sets of L2 Empuran. As said above, Prithvi and the team are now busy finishing the last portions of the film schedule in Gujarat. On his Instagram handle, Prithviraj shared a new picture from the film’s shoot. We can see the team taking a shot in the picture shared by the actor/filmmaker. Reportedly, the shooting will be completed by the end of this month. It is also being said that the further pending portions of the film will be shot in Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Dubai.
Released in 2019, Lucifer was a massive blockbuster at the box office. Murali Gopy, who wrote the story for the first part, will also work on L2: Empuran. Manju Warrior will continue in her role from the first part of the film, while it is still unknown whether Tovino Thomas will be part of the film. The release date of L2: Empuran has yet to be announced, as there is still a lot of time to finish the shooting.
