Koratala Siva on Chiranjeevi: Clearing Up Rumors

Despite scoring several hits in the past and gaining a reputation as a respected director, if one anticipated film fails to attract netizens and fans alike, the director’s career graph can immediately decline, placing them under immense pressure to deliver a comeback with their next project. This trend has been observed with directors like VV Vinayak, Surender Reddy, and Puri Jagannath. Director Koratala Siva is also part of this list after the disappointment of his previous film, Acharya.

Acharya was one of the most anticipated projects, starring Chiranjeevi, with Ram Charan playing a pivotal role. The collaboration between father and son excited fans before the film’s release; however, upon its release, it left many frustrated with the director for not handling the project effectively and wasting a significant opportunity. Furthermore, the film became a target for trolls for various reasons.

Speculations suggest that Koratala Siva did not wholeheartedly make this film due to external pressures during its direction. Rumors have circulated that actor Chiranjeevi himself disrupted the flow of direction during certain scenes. A recent statement from the director during the promotions of Devara hinted at this indirectly, leading to further trolling without revealing the actual reasons.

However, during the promotions for his upcoming film Devara, starring Jr. NTR, Koratala Siva addressed the situation. He clarified that Chiranjeevi was the first person to encourage him to bounce back after the setback of Acharya. He also stated that he and Chiranjeevi have always been on good terms.
