Kondal is the latest film from Antony Vargheese, the renowned Malayalam actor. The film is now available for online streaming. The popular streaming platform Netflix has made Kondal available for streaming, which was released in theaters during Onam in September. The film had an excellent pre-release buzz because of the striking posters, and the fans of Antony Vargheese showed a great deal of excitement for the movie.
Kondal was released in theaters alongside Tovino Thomas’s Ajayante Randam Moshanam and Asif Ali’s Kishkindha Kaandam. Also, the online partner of the film was announced immediately after its theatrical release, unlike the other Onam releases. Because of getting released in competition, Kondal was unable to meet the expectations and failed at the box office. Besides Malayalam, Kondal is also available in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi languages on Netflix. RDX, the 2023 blockbuster starring Antony Vargheese as one of the leads, is also streaming on Netflix. Made as an action film, Kondal tells the story of Manuel, who is thrown out of Munambam Harbour because of a big fight. The audience found similarities between the character’s portrayal of Antony Vargheese in Kondal from his earlier films like Ajagajantharam and Angamaly Diaries.
Directed by Ajit Manjampally, Kondal is produced by Weekend BBLockbubusteers banner, the same production house that backed the blockbuster film. RDX> Shabeer Kallarakkal, Kannada actor Raj B Shetty, Nandu, Manikanda Rajan, Pramod Veliyanadu, Prathibha, Gauthami Nair, Siraj, and Rahul Rajagopal played the supporting roles in the film.
