He is just another hero for some. A few hate him, a few like him, but for me, he is everything.
He is my role model, my inspiration. I admire his body maintenance even at this age, his style (especially his voice) is like a complete addiction, and he always keeps himself healthy. I love his guts because, despite having successful results as a commercial hero, he always tries something new. For example, after the huge success of being a mass hero with the blockbuster family movie ‘Ninne Pelladtha,’ he could have chosen another commercial film, but instead, he opted for ‘Annamayya’ and surprised everyone with a completely different performance, bringing a new approach to the film industry. Similarly, when he did ‘Super,’ a stylish entertainer, his next project was ‘Sri Ramadasu.’ He is so unpredictable, and the great thing is that he finds success even when he tries something different.
The movie ‘Shiva’ changed everything for him. He became the first South Indian hero to do regular films in Bollywood and was recognized by everyone. Achieving success in your own industry is common, but doing so in another industry is an achievement.
Important People Behind King Nagarjuna’s Career (Fans will be forever thankful for them):
When Nagarjuna was struggling at the beginning of his career, he stepped forward and gave him ‘Aakhari Poratam,’ followed by many good films. This combination was always loved.
Films: Agni Putrudu, Aakhari Poratam, Janaki Ramudu, Agni, Annamayya, Sri Ramadasu, Shirdi Sai, and Om Namo Venkatesaya.
This man gave a mass image to Nagarjuna. All the films under his direction brought Nagarjuna close to the mass audience, and commercially, this combination was very successful. The dialogues in these films always give fans goosebumps.
Films: Kirai Dada, Vicky Dada, Iddaru Iddare, President Gari Pellam, Allari Alludu, and Ramudochadu.
He was given a chance, and has utilized it, creating wonders for Nagrjuna during his early days. He completely changed Nagarjuna’s stardom by giving a masterpiece movie like #Shiva. He introduced Nag to Bollywood and made him the perfect hero that fans always wanted to see. Though the new RGV has given a forgettable film like ‘Officer,’ we cannot forget the days when he was there when Nagarjuna needed something to achieve. ‘Shiva’ changed his stardom, and ‘Antham’ created wonders.

He has given some wonderful films that will always be remembered. We never would have expected a comedic angle from Nagarjuna based on all his previous films until he met this man. This combination created some wonderful records and took Nag to the peak stage, where he was unstoppable at the box office.

Music is very key to any film. Perfect music is like magic; it can even elevate a weak scene. Ilaayiraja was the backbone of Nagarjuna during the early days of his career. The songs from ‘Geetanjali’ and ‘Siva’ are still trending and will always be.
Films: Sankeertana, Aakhari Poratam, Geetanjali, Shiva, Shiva (Hindi), Nirnayam, Chaitanya, and Killer.
When there is a music lover like Nagarjuna who has perfect taste, and he gets a music director like Keeravani who has an extraordinary voice and quality music, this combination is unstoppable. Most of the albums from this combination are chartbusters. Despite a few films failing at the box office, when it comes to music, they never failed. Some wonderful songs will always be remembered.

Many wonder why these people are on the list. At a certain point during the 2000s, Nagarjuna was struggling post the success of ‘Azaad’ with back-to-back duds and some forgettable films. Then Puri came up with ‘Sivamani’ and reconnected Nag to the mass audience while Nagarjuna was already tasting success as a class hero with two blockbusters, ‘Manmadhudu’ and ‘Santosham.’ Lawrence brought ‘Mass,’ a 2.0 version of ‘Sivamani,’ followed by ‘Super’ with Puri, and again ‘Don’ with Lawrence. That’s when Nagarjuna got his success storm back.

Special Mention: Music Director Sandeep Chowtha, though he worked with Nagarjuna on just four films, he gave some sensational chartbusters that will always be on every Nagarjuna fan’s hit list.
