Kalki 2898 AD Day 1 box office collections are out. Nag Ashwin’s movie was among the year’s most awaited films. Featuring Deepika Padukone, Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan in pivotal roles, the film received an overwhelming response from both viewers and reviewers. It is worth mentioning that Kalki 2898 AD also had a phenomenal start at the box office. On its opening day in India, the futuristic science fiction flick reportedly raked in around 175 Crores Gross and 90 Crores Share.
The Trade experts’ early estimates reveal that Kalki 2898 AD generated nearly Rs 90 crore share on its opening day at the Indian box office. The film’s collections came predominantly from Overseas and Telugu States. However, the mass audiences did not get in sync with the sci-fi theme of the film, according to the reports. That is why Kalki failed to pull off expected numbers in some regions of Andhra Pradesh. But the good thing is the film is getting good reactions from other parts of India, such as North India, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka. Amitabh Bachchan recently discussed his involvement in Nag Ashwin’s futuristic film Kalki 2898 AD. In a blog post, the veteran actor expressed his reflections, stating, “The outcome of such projects remains uncertain during the production phase… as time progresses, and the intricate details come to light… one can’t help but marvel at the Director’s creative vision.”.
The main ensemble of Kalki 2898 AD includes Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan. Actress Disha Patani also plays a crucial role in the film. In addition to the main cast, the movie features special appearances by actors such as Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Deverakonda, Mrunal Thakur, Brahmanandam, and Anna Ben, adding to the star power of the film.
