This movie has garnered significant attention due to its impressive ensemble cast, which includes Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan. The captivating trailer has already generated a lot of excitement among the audience. The film’s creators recently unveiled a special video titled The Kalki Chronicles Part 1, featuring the cast conversing with producers Swapna and Priyanka Dutt. During this insightful video, Kamal Haasan shared the intriguing story of how director Nag Ashwin managed to persuade him to join the project, and interestingly, it has a connection to Amitabh Bachchan.

The experienced performer, amazed by the grand masterpiece’s remarkable outcome, expressed that executing films on such a colossal level is exceedingly challenging. Kamal Haasan believes that he can never wholly rely on the director’s portrayal of the film through concept and story designs, as they merely exhibit ambition. Unfortunately, many of those ambitious projects that he contemplated being a part of never materialized. Nevertheless, when Nag Ashwin approached him to portray Supreme Yaskin in Kalki 2898 AD, the circumstances were notably distinct. Kamal Haasan inquired extensively from the skilled director about the unique approach to executing a project of such scale. Rather than presenting storyboards or concept designs, Nag Ashwin showcased certain segments of the film featuring the iconic actor Amitabh Bachchan, which had already been filmed. The scenes with Sr. Bachchan, portraying Ashwatthama in the movie, greatly impressed Haasan, prompting the seasoned actor to give his immediate approval.

The versatile artist was captivated by Nag Ashwin’s grand vision and the outcome and was also intrigued by his character, Supreme Yaskin. Kamal Haasan revealed that he proposed the concept of Yaskin’s ‘third eye’ after gaining a deeper understanding of the character. Director Nag Ashwin embraced the idea and quickly approved and declared it finalized. Kamal Haasan’s portrayal of Yaskin has garnered praise from viewers and heightened anticipation for the project.
