Despite a 75% decrease in box office earnings in India after its release, the film has shown remarkable stability following the opening weekend. In fact, from day six to day seven, the drop was only 14.23%, a testament to the film’s enduring appeal, as reported by industry insiders. Kalki’s second weekend box office performance will determine whether it will enter the 1000 Cr Club.
The movie, directed by Nag Ashwin, was also made available in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The movie features Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, and Shobana in pivotal roles. Additionally, the film showcases surprise appearances by renowned actors. Santhosh Narayanan provided the musical score for the movie, marking his 50th project as a composer.
