Bollywood’s prominent filmmaker Karan Johar recently responded to the unwanted negative remarks and trolls against Alia Bhatt’s Jigra, which is slated to be released in theaters worldwide on October 11, 2024. The folks who follow Bollywood news know very well that Karan Johar is always targeted with trolls related to nepotism and favoritism. On Sunday, October 6, the filmmaker took to his social media account and responded to the trolls that were made against him because of the recent interview of Vasan Bala, the director of Jigra.
In a recent interview, director Vasan Bala shared that he was not happy with Karan Johar as he forwarded an unedited script of Jigra to Alia Bhatt without even informing him. He said that he would have properly edited the script without any grammar mistakes if he had known that Karan would send the script to Jigra. However, these words of Vasan were taken out of context by netizens, and they started trolling KJO that he always supports nepotistic kids only, and they also accused him of interfering in the director’s job. As said above, Karan finally broke his silence on the issue on October 6. On his Instagram account, Karan Johar shared a photo of a person keeping a finger on their lips with a text that said, “We have to be strong to ensure our life is stable enough to shut some negative people’s mouths. I’m Salmiah.”
Karan also stated that Vasan Bala is one of the most talented filmmakers, and he required people to hear and read the entire interview of Vasan before turning eyballs on him. Jigra stars Vedang Raina along with Alia Bhatt, and they both appear as siblings in the film. Produced jointly by Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt, the film will hit the screens in another four days.
