Friends is one of the most popular American sitcom shows. Its first season aired on September 22nd 1994 and it came to an end in 2004 after the completion of 10 seasons. Every season had around 24 episodes with the run time of 20 to 25 min each. Though it’s an old one it is still trending amongst the new releases. It is still being loved by this generation and we are definitely sure that it will pass on to the next generations as well. The beauty of this series is everyone can relate to the scenes/incidents that took place from the show in real life.
Set in New York, This series follows the day to day lives of a group of 6 unique friends Ross Geller, Monika Geller, Rachel Green, Chandler Bing, Phoebe Buffay and Joey Tribbiani as they live, work, and love in the city. Most surprising part about the show is that these 6 unique characters have a separate fan base, In fact many of the viewers don’t even know their original names. Whenever they are seen off screen or in the interviews they are mostly acknowledged with the names from the show.
One of the 6 friends is Chandler Bing played by Matthew Perry. His craze is unmatchable and famously known for his sarcastic comedy from the show. On October 28, 2023, Perry was found unresponsive in his hot tub and was later pronounced dead at 4:17 p.m. that day, at the age of 54. Fans who keep revisiting the show to get rid of stress from their routine lives couldn’t digest this news and they say friends will never be the same after knowing the demise of Mathew Perry and it will always be running in their minds while watching the show.
