Yesterday was the TDP day as the party conducted a massive public meeting in Vizianagaram district, marking the closure of TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh’s Yuva Galam padayatra. The meeting was held at Polipalli village of Bhogapuram mandal in Vizianagaram district.
Lokesh started the Yuva Galam padayatra at Kuppam on January 27. He announced that the padayatra would be held for 400 days and he would walk for 4,000 kilometers. But he concluded it in 226 days walking for 3132 kilometers.
There is no one to ask him where those 400 days and 4,000 kilometers had gone and why did he stop the padayatra in half of the days that he had announced. But still, they celebrated the abrupt closure of the padayatra.
They hurled abuses at chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. The key speakers were TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu, Jana Sena chief K Pawan Kalyan and TDP general secretary Lokesh. All the three had dedicated a good amount of time to abuse Jagan Mohan Reddy rather than tell people what they want to do if they are voted to power in the 2024 general elections.
The meeting was over, and it turned out to be the yellow media day today. The yellow media had come up with strong reports in support of the TDP’s public meeting. Starting from the front page to the inside pages, the yellow media had spread photos of the public meeting on several pages. There were articles praising the public meeting and giving the highest importance to their speeches.
It was all against Jagan Mohan Reddy and all the yellow newspapers had been about Jagan Mohan Reddy’s misrule. They could say nothing in their support, like promising good things for the people or anything on that count.
So, it was the yellow media day today!
