iQoo’s Next Smartphone: Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Chip, 144Hz Display, and More

iQoo appears to be readying a successor to its iQoo Neo 9 Pro, with leaks hinting at impressive upgrades. The upcoming smartphone is rumored to be powered by Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, the same processor found in Vivo’s iQoo 12 flagship. Leaked details also suggest a high-quality 1.5K LPTO AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a rear panel made of glass or leather, eschewing a plastic frame for a more premium feel.

Camera enthusiasts might find the new iQoo offering intriguing, as it is expected to feature a 50-megapixel primary camera, though details about the secondary camera remain elusive. The device is also rumored to pack a “large” battery with 120W fast charging support, ensuring quick top-ups. Additionally, the smartphone could include a short-focus fingerprint scanner and an X-axis vibration motor for enhanced user experience.

While the exact name of the upcoming iQoo smartphone remains unknown, speculation suggests it could be the follow-up to the iQoo Neo 9 Pro launched earlier this year. The iQoo Neo 9 Pro boasts a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, up to 12GB of RAM, and a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also features a 50-megapixel primary camera with a Sony IMX920 sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary camera, catering to photography enthusiasts.
