Interesting line up for Bobby Deol in South

Bobby Deol, once heavily criticized for his role in “Race 3” and facing a struggle to secure box office hits, has staged a remarkable comeback with “Animal,” directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

Despite a limited role of 20 to 25 minutes where he remains silent, his portrayal as Abrar Ul Haque makes a lasting impact on the film. Bobby Deol has been introduced as the antagonist after more than half of the film “Animal” is complete. His characterization must make an impact without any delays, even when the writing is good. The actor’s performance is crucial for the audience to determine the quality of the scene. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has written the script in a way that, during the start of the second half, the film primarily focuses on the protagonist, Ranbir Kapoor, and his behavioral patterns for almost 50 minutes. However, Bobby Deol as the antagonist didn’t have as much time. He needs to convince the audience that he is wilder than Ranbir Kapoor solely through his expressions since he cannot speak, and the scene concludes in a few minutes. All he has is a 10-minute runtime to impress the audience straight away with his introduction. Bobby Deol delivers a bang-on performance, showing emotions, anger, and a wild nature in just 10 minutes, which is impeccable.

Numerous voices have declared Bobby Deol’s resurgence as an actor with “Animal,” and his hashtag has been trending on social media since the film’s release. Visibly moved after watching the film with the audience on its opening day, Bobby Deol received a standing ovation for his performance, indicating a strong and positive public response.

Currently riding high on the success of “Animal,” Bobby Deol is now set to make a mark in the South with several intriguing and significant projects. One such project is “Kanguva,” featuring Suriya in the lead role. Additionally, he is part of “Hari Hara Veera Mallu,” starring Power Star Pawan Kalyan. Talks are also underway for NBK109, featuring Nandamuri Balakrishna under the direction of Bobby, with the specific roles yet to be revealed. Speculation suggests that these roles might lean towards negative shades. The question lingering is whether Bobby Deol can leverage the success of “Animal” and sustain his triumphant run in the South. Only time will unveil the answer.
